Today's Thought: THE WEAPONS OF OUR WARFARE!

      "(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)" (2 Corinthians 10:4 KJV).

Life is not a funfair, it is a warfare! Life is not a playground, it is a battleground. The scripture urges us to "Fight the good fight of faith". What kind of warfare is our warfare? It is a warfare of words, because we live in the world of words. The world will always have a word to describe or define whatever you are facing or battling with per time. Therefore, for the believers, we need to equip our knowledge base of the Word of God, in order to live victoriously. Today's scripture revealed that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal/physical, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds. Meanwhile, from this scripture, it takes God to pull down whatever strong holds any believer may be facing per time: be it failure, sickness, disappointment, stagnation, frustration etc.

The weapons we need to conquer are mighty and only through God. This implies without God man is helpless and hopeless of victory in life. Also without us God will not, because until we involve Him, He will let us be. This is because He has given us the earth to dominate but through Him. That's why He has given us a name that's above all other names, the name JESUS. All our weapons of warfare as we have discovered them will never deliver outside the name of Jesus. Peter understood this, he told the lame man at the beautiful gate (Acts 3:), in the name of Jesus, rise up and walk and immediately he walked. Therefore, any believer that want to use any of the weapons of our warfare must do that through the name of JESUS to get result, because no man can go to God except through Him. In other words no weapon of our spiritual warfare can work without the name JESUS, the access code to victory in life. Shalom!

Today's Thought: DEFINED OR DIVINE YOU!

      "And Jesus went out, and his disciples, into the towns of Caesarea Philippi: and by the way he asked his disciples, saying unto them, Whom do men say that I am? (Mark 8:27 KJV).

What have people or situation around you said you are? Have you been called: poor, jobless, barren, unmarried, good for nothing, useless, incapable, debtor, beggar, sick, dullard, etc. It does not matter what defined words described you; it's not the true you. Only God has the final say over your life. People or situation don't make you but God's Word did. Who or what does not make you don't have the right to define or describe you. Only the manufacturer knows and determines the true name of his or her products and not the end users. No matter the names the people call a product, it cannot change the true name (identity) registered by the manufacturer. So likewise, the believers true identity are as determined and divinely registered in the Word of God, no word of man in this world can define us.

Jabez realised this in 1 Chronicles 4:9-10 and his story changed. Your own story is changing too. From Today's scripture, if will follow same account in Matthew 16:13-18. Peter gave the real identify of Jesus Christ as revealed by God to him. Jesus said: upon that rock (unchanged revelation) He will build His Church and no gate of hell shall prevail. Until you discovered the true revelation (the rock) of the divine you from the Word of God, your built up will not come to manifestation. It is the Revelation of the True You from the the Word of God that determines the Manifestation of the True You in the World. A Believer's True Identity is Not Based on Human or Situation Defined Words but by the Divine Word of God. If you truly want to manifest your true identity in this world, get the revelation of your true identity from the Word of God daily. This is where your dominion over every limitation against your true identity lies. Be wise and Go for the Word of God. Shalom!

Today's Thought: COMFORT ON EVERY SIDE!

      "Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side" (Psalm 71:21 KJV).

We serve a God of comfort on every side. His Word for us established this truth: "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth" (3 John 1:2 KJV). His divine plan for us is Fullness of Comfort on Every Side, which covers our spirit, soul and body. More so, according to Today's text: only God can increase our greatness, and comfort us on every side. Your salary, income, profits, dividends, wealth, position, possession or what have you; can't give you comfort on every side. These may make you comfortable in many areas but not all. Jesus said, the life of a man is not in the abundance of what he has.

Therefore, to access all sides comfort, we need to get connected to the God of all comfort, otherwise no empowerment for all round comfort. Connectivity with God gives us the access to the source of empowerment for comfort on every side. The Word of God speaks comfort into our lives. The scripture says: "Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God" (Isaiah 40:1 KJV). When you receive the Word of God, you are empowered for comfort in the world. There's always a word of comfort for every area of endeavours in life. To ensure we remain comfortable, God sent His Holy Spirit, our Comforter to live in us. The sole ministry of the Holy Spirit is to bring us comfort on every side via His governing power, which is the Word of God. It is not enough to be born again but to be filled with the Holy Spirit, in order to access comfort on every side in life. If you are not filled, you can pray right now and you will be filled. He is waiting to fill you, if you are born again, because He is in you for your supernatural empowerment of comfort on every side. It's your day. Shalom!

Today's Thought: THE BELIEVERS PROFESSION!

      "Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) (Hebrews 10:23 KJV).

The promises of God are yes and amen. Today's scripture established the truth of the faithfulness of God to us - the believers. God is not a man that He should lie, neither a son of man that needs to change his words. Whatever God has said in His Word, He is able to bring to pass concerning your life. God is not a joker, He says what He means and means what He says. The scripture says: "For ever, O Lord , thy word is settled in heaven" (Psalm 119:89 KJV). As God had said in His Word so they are, because His words are settled before they are said. He said, you are blessed, so you are, the prevailing situation or circumstance notwithstanding.

Meanwhile, we must know that we have a profession of faith as believers. It is a great profession that brings great possession in returns. For every profession, there's need for training so we can move from level to level. Our teacher is the Holy Spirit, the Holy Bible is the curriculum but each one determines his or her promotion per time. What you don't know, says no to you; what you don't understand, you stand under; and what you are ignorant of, easily ignores you. Therefore, to maximize your profession of faith and rule over situations by faith, you must hold fast the profession by submitting to the tutelage of our Great Professor (Holy Spirit) for your Great Possession via Word study daily and always, because faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). Today's Thought: THE POWER OF THE SPOKEN WORD!

      "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life" (John 6:63 NASB).

The Word of God is powerful and active for supernatural living. All things are made by the Word of God. The Word of God cannot fail because the Word is God (John 1:1). According to Today's scripture, the Spirit gives life. The kind of life that the Spirit of God gives is the God's kind of life, which is the supernatural life. The supernatural life is superior to ordinary life; it is unlimited and does not obey the natural laws. The Holy Spirit operates by supernatural laws for supernatural manifestations. In the above scripture, Jesus made it clear that: His spoken words are spirit and life. This implies that, every Word of God carries the Spirit of God and whenever believers get hold of the Word of God and speak it, the Spirit of God goes into action and brings it alive. The Spirit gives life to the spoken words.

What a great advantage we have as believers? Access to the spoken words of God; Right to the indwelling Spirit of God, that empowers the Word of God in us for supernatural manifestations. We are redeemed as Kings and Priests to reign on the earth; we reign by our spoken words. You must be conscious of this: that by speaking forth the Word of God, the Spirit of God gives life into it. One may ask but I have been speaking but no result. This is because you have been speaking without a solid foundation of the power of the spoken word. The Spirit of God is the power of the spoken Word but faith in the written Word is what triggers the Spirit of the Word of God to deliver supernaturally. That's why it is to everyone according to his or her faith. Therefore, build your faith daily by the Word of God. Shalom!

Today's Thought: EVERLASTING STRENGTH!

      "Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength" (Isaiah 26:4 KJV).

Strength is a fundamental requirement for various activities in life. The scripture also says: 'if thou faint in the day of adversary, thy strength is little'. This implies that, if you don't want to faint or fail in life, build your strength. Strength building is capacity development and it covers all areas of human endeavour. Mental strength is for mental exploits; physical strength is for physical activities; emotional strength is for emotional stability and; spiritual strength is for spiritual triumph in life.

Most of our challenges in life are largely spiritual more than physical. Goliath of Gath was ranting and challenging the Israelites for about forty days (1 Samuel 17:4,16). Despite the mental, physical and emotional trainings of the army, no one was strong enough to face the giant. It took the young man called David with an unwavering trust in God to bring him down without a weapon of war. What God uses to humiliate every giants in our lives is not our age, experience, connections, personal ability but absolute trust in His everlasting strength. The secret to the everlasting strength of God is His Word; because He upholds all things by the Word of His power (Hebrews 1:3). The Word of God is the power of God and trusting in His Word birth everlasting strength that is built to outlast every challenge in life. Until you know the Word of God, you can't trust His Word and until you trust in His Word, you can experience everlasting strength that cannot faint or fail in life. Shalom!

DAILY DOMINION!

Today's Thought: COMMANDING RELEVANCE!

      "Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men" (Matthew 5:13 KJV).

We make a living by what we get out of this world but we command relevance by what we give. What you get is for you but what you give is for others and you will be remembered more by what you give than what you get. In other words, to remain relevant, you must make more impacts in people's life. Today's scripture unveils who we are destined to be as believers, the salt of the earth. We are to make the earth a better place and not bitter. According to the above text, salt must remain relevant otherwise it will be cast out. The main thing is knowing how to command unending relevance. As a matter of fact salt that is available for use don't lose relevance but unavailable or inaccessible salt will lose relevance with time. The more savour a salt is, the more it commands relevance.

Keeping and maintaining savour is not the responsibility of the salt but the owner. A well kept or preserved salt will command relevance always. The Word of God says: "if you abide in me and my Word abides in you, you shall ask whatsoever you will and it shall be done unto you". It takes abiding in Christ and allowing the Word to abide in us to command relevance without end. Revelation of the Word of God keeps believers relevant and commanding relevance in this world.
It was what God revealed to Daniel that gave him relevance in his time; it was revelation that made Joseph relevant as a Prime Minister in Egypt. The Word of God empowers, renews, revives, restores, rescues, reassures, reproves, resists, repositions believers always; and we must keep looking at this perfect law of liberty, that is capable of renewing our savour as the salt of the earth, in order to keep commanding relevance wherever we are per time. Remain with your source (The Word), retain your savour and command relevance forever.
