Today's Thought: BELIEVERS' KINGDOM SHIFT!

      "Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son" (Colossians 1:13 KJV).

The scripture says: if anyone be in Christ he is a new creature, old things are passed away, behold all things are new. What happen to a believer at new birth is a "Kingdom Shift", according to Today's scripture. Salvation is both a liberation from the power of darkness and translation into the Kingdom of God. We are no more under the influence of darkness but in the Kingdom of light. New creation is light dependent and motivated. We operate by light and therefore, darkness has no power over us. Meanwhile, as a new creature, a believer requires a new culture that is nurtured by the scripture, in order to feature in the divine nature of God that is superior to ordinary nature. The Word of God is the light that rules over darkness (John 1:5).

The dominion of light over the darkness is automatic and absolute. When light comes, darkness must go. That's why revelation of the Word of God is absolute in dealing with every raging appearance of the power of darkness. Sickness, delay, lack and want, depression and all manners of the manifestation of darkness must bow to the power of light of the Word of God. The believers 'Kingdom Shift' is the platform for our lift far above the power of darkness. Therefore, all believers need to be empowered by light of the Word of God, so as to reign over the power of darkness. Until your light comes, you cannot arise and shine in life. If any area of your light is dull, you must go for appropriate and adequate light that guarantees your lift in that area. The Word of God remains the light for rising up from all situations and shine in life.

Ponder on this: The Believers Kingdom Shift Guarantees a Lift Far Above the Power of Darkness!

Today's Thought: BELIEVER'S MIND RENEWAL!

      "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God" (Romans 12:2 KJV)

The most vital aspect of man's life is the mind. It your mind's fullness that determines your life's fullness. It is the central processing unit of life. We live more on the inside than the outside. Our lives are lived inside out. Whatever is processed in the mind is what is professed or confessed from the mouth. Like a computer system our mind is the software of life. It can be formated and renewed, according to Today's scripture. Believers must continually renewing the mind, so as not to be conformed to the world system; because the Kingdom lifestyle is different from the world.

In the world, people speak of moving from grass to grace but in the Kingdom of God, we move from grace to grace; they speak of moving from shame to glory but not so in the Kingdom of God, because we are changed from glory to glory by the Spirit of the Lord, as we behold Him in the mirror of the Word. If care is not taken, believers will speak in conformation to the world's system that is contrary to the Word of God. In the world, people live by sight but in the Kingdom of God, we live by faith and not by sight. In the world, the weak say they are weak and the poor say they are poor; but the Word of God says: "let the weak say, I am strong" (Joel 3:10) and "the blessing of God makes rich" (Proverbs 10:22). Therefore, it is pertinent for the believers to be transformed by the renewing of the mind, through the Word of God. World conformation corrupts the mind but Word revelation renews the mind. Be Word addicted to encounter revelation for transformation and be free from world conformation. Shalom!

Today's Thought: BELIEVER'S GREATER WORKS!

      "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father" (John 14:12 KJV).

In the Kingdom of God, every believer has been redeemed and made by Christ, as King and Priest to reign on the earth. Our reigning is based on the Word of God by faith in Him. Believers are assured in Today's scripture that: we shall do the works of Jesus and greater works. Jesus specialises in doing great works and believers are destined to operate in the same frequency and even greater dimensions. God destined us to operate in the fullness of Christ.

Greater works, how? He healed the sick, delivered the oppressed, restored blind eyes, raised the dead, provided money through the mouth of a fish, and many more works. These are the expectations of heaven concerning the believers. Are we doing these now? Yes! The same power at work in the time of the earthly ministry of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, is yet at work in us. That is why the scripture says: "Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world" (1John 4:4). How can we do greater works now? Jesus said it: "He that believeth on me". If you believe, you are qualified for great and greater works of signs and wonders. Meanwhile, it is the Word of God that empowers believers to operate in great faith for greater works. Greater works demands great faith and great faith is generated by the Word of God. Therefore, believers must take God's Word serious and generate great faith for greater works. The apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers are not the only group of believers entitled to greater works, but anyone that believes in Christ. Now take your rightful place in the Kingdom; generate great faith and do greater works!

DAILY DOMINION!

Today's Thought: LAUNCH FORTH WORD!

      "Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship with his disciples: and he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth" (Luke 8:22 KJV).

There is always other side of whatever any person is passing through or experiencing now. Other side of adversity is advancement; other side of barrenness is fruitfulness; other side of lack and want is abundance, other side of stagnation is promotion; other side of poverty is prosperity; other side of sickness is healing and total health; other side of misfortune is fortune and what have. There is always other side and that is what Jesus Christ specialises on: taking you to the other side of every challenge; by giving you His launch forth Word, for your breakthrough; according to Today's text. Meanwhile, He takes us to the other side based on His Word and He goes with us to back His Word that gives us breakthroughs all the way; prevailing circumstances notwithstanding.

The interesting thing about the text above is the last part of the verse: "And they launched forth". They act based on the Word and any time you act on His Word, God's integrity is committed. Along the way to the other side, there was raging storm on the sea, as you read further in the chapter. They allowed fear to take over and they went to the Lord; he rebuked the storm and they went forth to the other side. He asked them this question: Where is your faith? (Luke 8:25). When we panic by what we face in life, same question is applicable: where is your faith? Your launch forth Word is to generate your break forth faith amidst fear; that will culminate in your breakthrough in life. At the onset of every area of our lives; there must be a word from the Lord, that will launch us forth to the other side. Just hold on to the Word of God that cannot fail and experience breakforth in the midst of opposition; by faith in the launch forth Word. All we need to do to move to the other side of whatever we are going through that demands a change is: to get a launch forth Word of God and stick to the Word till our breakthroughs manifest; the prevailing circumstances notwithstanding, the Word we take you to the other side. Shalom!

Today's Thought: DESTINED FOR DOMINION!

      "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth" (Genesis 1:26 KJV).

My Great Mentor and Chief Instructor's popular quote reads: "When purpose of a thing is not known, the abuse is inevitable" (Dr. Myles Munroe). I strongly believe that the most important thing for any man on the earth is: the great discovery of the great purpose of the Great King of the earth, God; for the creation of man, from the beginning based on His manual for living. The Word of God declared the great purpose of man's creation, according to Today's text, above. Dominion remains the established purpose of God for man. Therefore, we must know our purpose, in order to pursue it with a view to possessing it.

Taking dominion daily is a product of understanding and appropriating the principal tool for taking dominion, which the Word of God; as demonstrated by God, over the raging darkness of the earth after the creation (Genesis 1:2-3). Meanwhile, we must reflect the image of God from His Word before we can function after His likeness. The key to dominion is the Word of God, because we live in the world of word-warfare. God is the Great King over all the earth, and since we are redeemed to be His image, we are kings wherever we are. Therefore, access to the Word of God is the access to the image of God for our inspiration that culminates in total transformation. Every other books inform but the Holy Bible, the book of life transforms the believers into the same image of God, in order to act like Him in manifesting our dominion over all the earth. To rule over every situation in life, we must lay hold on the Word of God concerning the particular issue, wherein our dominion is domiciled and appropriate it correctly. Laying hold on the Word is reflecting God's image (2 Corinthians 3:18); and appropriating it correctly is manifesting His likeness. Shalom!

DAILY DOMINION!

Today's Thought: THE QUICK AND POWERFUL WORD!

      "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart" (Hebrews 4:12 KJV).

The Word of God is quick and powerful! He heals, delivers, sets free, provides, empowers, raises the dead, works wonders. God's Word delivers instantaneously with utmost potency. He cannot fail. Yes, we do believe in the powerful effects of the Word of God, but most people will not let the Word do the quick and powerful works in them. Jesus said, "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you" (John 15:7 KJV). Therefore, as believers, we must allow the Word of God to abide in us. The scripture also admonishes to "let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom ....." (Colossians 3:16).

Until the Word of God dwell richly in us, we cannot enjoy the Word richly in life. If we allow the Word of God as the discerner of the thoughts and intents of our hearts, according to Today's text; there will be no evil deeds like hatred, envy, slander, strive, immorality and what have you. If our thoughts and the intents of our hearts are not aligned with the Word of God, there will be no experience of quick and powerful works of the Word for us and through us. That's why the scripture says: "Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof" (2 Timothy 3:5). Let the Word of God do the quick and powerful works in you, in order to experience quick and powerful works for and through you. Not living by the Word is denying the power from working for and through us. Live by the Word of God to live and enjoy quick and powerful works in life. The Word of God must work in you before He can work for and through you. Shalom!

DAILY DOMINION!

Today's Thought: THE POWER OF REVELATION!

      "But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God" (1 Corinthians 2:10 KJV).

Divine Revelation is the unfolding of God's will from His Word by the Holy Spirit. It is the unfolding of deep things of God beyond the ordinary from the light of His Word, through His Spirit. The Spirit of the Lord searches all things, even the deep things of God, according to Today's scripture. It was revelation that set Joseph as Prime Minister from the prison in Egypt; it was revelation that delivered Daniel and others from the dead sentence pronounced by the King in Babylon; It takes revelation to experience elevation from every frustration and stagnation of life. When your light comes, you must arise and shine (Isaiah 60:1). Your elevation is in divine revelation!

The Holy Spirit is the custodian of divine revelation. Daniel said, there is a God in heaven that reveals secrets (Daniel 2:28), because secrets things belong to God. Is there any thing around your life that looks intertwined and not clear? God can reveal it. It will only take engaging the Holy Spirit. How then do we engage Him for revelation? Simply by prayer and fasting. Prayer and fasting facilitates the outbreak of revelation (Isaiah 58:8). Just take time to pray and fast, then your light will break forth from obscurity. In life, there are questions that only God can answer; there are issues that only God can solve. God answers us when we call on Him and the Holy Spirit connects us to the answers from the Word, to make then clearer to us. Anything He shows you, it's effect must show in your life. Stop living in confusion and start engaging the Holy Spirit to empower you with revelation, that will culminate in your elevation from every situation.

Today's Thought: JOY UNSPEAKABLE FULL OF GLORY!

      "Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory" (1 Peter 1:8 KJV).

Joy is of the heart, it comes from within but happiness is of the earth, it comes from without. Happiness is based on the happenings around you while joy is based on the state of your mind. Joy is unspeakable and it is full of glory, according to Today's scripture. Happiness can be temporal but joy is eternal. What keeps you joyful keeps you hopeful; the happenings around you notwithstanding. Happiness is stimulated by positive turnout of events but joy is stabilised, irrespective of the turnout of any event. The scriptures says; "and we know that all things work together for the good of them that love God...". (Romans 8:28). Knowledge of the Word of God.

Besides, happiness is the state of your mood, whereas joy is the status of your mind. That is why the scripture urges us to: "renew our minds" (Romans 12:2). How then do you renew your mind to stay joyful always, inspite the happenings around? The Word of God is the activator of joy unspeakable full of glory. This joy is indescribable, inexplanable but yet undeniable. It takes joy to draw water from the wells of salvation (Isaiah 12:3). Joy draws water but happiness waits to drink. Don't let the happenings define the state of your mood but let what is written in the Word activates your mind. Happiness is defined by the happenings in the world but joy is defined by what is written in the Word. Stop living your life by the happenings but start living by what is written in the Word of God. The scripture says: "Thy Words were found, and I did eat them: and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts" (Jeremiah 15:16). Keep finding and keep applying the Word of God to experience joy unspeakable full of glory. Shalom!

Today's Thought: THE BREAD OF LIFE!

      "And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst" (John 6:35 KJV).

Bread is the most common type of food in life. It is a unique kind of food, because of its significant nutritional value to humanity. You can take it and be satisfied. It is a globally recognised staple food, that gives energy; and contains fibrous content which keeps the digestive system in good order for good living. It goes beyond merely staple food to life support. Jesus said: "man shall not live by bread alone but by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God" (Matthew 4:4). He showed the importance of bread to living.

From Today's scripture: He declared Himself as 'the bread of life'. This bread of life solves hunger and thirst challenges of life. Who is Jesus? He is the Word of God made Flesh (John 1:14). He operates both in the spiritual and physical realms; so believers partake of Him both physically as the "communion flesh" and spiritually as the Word of God. This bread of life is the same yesterday, today and forever. He delivers powerfully always, everywhere and to everyone that comes to Him. He satisfies every human heart desires. He answers every question of life. He caters for all aspects of human endeavours. Anyone that has this bread of life enjoys the best kind of life. Jesus, The Word of God is the bread of life for living the best kind of life, therefore treat the Word as such and enjoy the very best of God. God has given us all we need in life and are packaged in His Word; don't let anything else stand against your access to the best of God from the Word of God, the Bread of Life.

DAILY DOMINION!

Today's Thought: KNOWLEDGE FOR MULTIPLIED GRACE AND PEACE!

      "Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord" (2 Peter 1:2 KJV).

It is what you know that makes you known and sets you apart in your own class in life. Skill is critical but knowledge of the skill is much more vital. A man with a skill without adequate knowledge of the application of the skill may soon kill, even with the skill. He may kill the system that he or she is trying to apply the skill upon. Moses was skillful in using his rod for leading the animals, but when it came to leading the children of Israel from Egypt; he has to follow the leadings of God in order to lead the people of God to their promised land, otherwise there would be chaos.

From Today's scripture: the knowledge of God via His Word remains the only guarantee, for grace and peace to be multiplied in someone's life. It is the applied revelation of God's Word that terminates every frustration in life. Believers should not be too familiar with the letters of the scriptures, that will overlook the aspect of the Spirit behind the letters, who gives life to the letters. Moses was too familiar with the use of his rod that he missed the Spirit of God behind the rod. He was asked to speak to the rock to bring about the miracle water but struck the rock with the rod; it resulted to an error that prevented him from entering the promised land, having seen it afar off. For grace and peace to be multiplied in our lives, we must allow the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth to guide us into all truths and teach us all things by engaging Him in our study of the Word; that our profitings from the Word might appear to all in the world. May God grant us spiritual understanding, in Jesus Christ name, amen.

DAILY DOMINION!

Today's Thought: GOD WITHHOLDS NOTHING!

      "For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly" (Psalm 84:11 KJV).

God is a good God, He does good things always. Life is based on choices to make and the choice can either make or mar the person. The choice to serve God only and walk by His Word as the standard of living makes exceedingly great in life. The scripture says: "their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another gods" (Psalm 16:4). Making the Lord your God no matter what, is what maintains your lot in life. When God is your portion, He will definitely make your portion the best at all times. From Today's scripture, it is certain that God will not withhold anything from the upright. He releases His best to them that make Him their first in life.

Making the choice to seek God first above all else, is what secures all else in life, according to Matthew 6:33. God does not permit sun without providing a shield, in case the sun is getting too hot, so that there can be comfort. Sun has its purpose and likewise the shield. In case the sun is becoming unbearable for the animals, the plants provide the shield for them. The Lord God make them all, for a purpose and season. God has given us grace through Jesus Christ, which can be multiplied through the knowledge of His Word (2 Peter 1:2). As the grace multiplied, it must culminate in glory in life, but only for them that walk uprightly. The question now is: are you walking uprightly? Your answer can only be justified by God's Word, which is the standard for uprightness in life. This is the reason God gave His Word: so that we can walk uprightly and enjoy all good things in life. Therefore, we must stick to the Word of God to stay upright in this world; in order to enjoy the best in life now and forever in eternity.

Ponder on this: God Upholds All Things by the Word of His Power and Withholds Nothing Good from the Upright!
