Today's Thought: THE BREAD OF LIFE!
"And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst" (John 6:35 KJV).
Bread is the most common type of food in life. It is a unique kind of food, because of its significant nutritional value to humanity. You can take it and be satisfied. It is a globally recognised staple food, that gives energy; and contains fibrous content which keeps the digestive system in good order for good living. It goes beyond merely staple food to life support. Jesus said: "man shall not live by bread alone but by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God" (Matthew 4:4). He showed the importance of bread to living.
From Today's scripture: He declared Himself as 'the bread of life'. This bread of life solves hunger and thirst challenges of life. Who is Jesus? He is the Word of God made Flesh (John 1:14). He operates both in the spiritual and physical realms; so believers partake of Him both physically as the "communion flesh" and spiritually as the Word of God. This bread of life is the same yesterday, today and forever. He delivers powerfully always, everywhere and to everyone that comes to Him. He satisfies every human heart desires. He answers every question of life. He caters for all aspects of human endeavours. Anyone that has this bread of life enjoys the best kind of life. Jesus, The Word of God is the bread of life for living the best kind of life, therefore treat the Word as such and enjoy the very best of God. God has given us all we need in life and are packaged in His Word; don't let anything else stand against your access to the best of God from the Word of God, the Bread of Life.
Ponder on this: The Word of God is The Bread of Life for Living the Best of Life!
Remember: THIS BREAD OF LIFE IS THE SAME YESTERDAY, TODAY AND FOREVER. HE DELIVERS POWERFULLY ALWAYS, EVERYWHERE AND TO EVERYONE THAT COMES TO HIM. Have a glorious day.
