Today's Thought: MORE THAN CONQUERORS!
"Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us" (Romans 8:37 KJV).
The most potent force in the world is love, because love fails not (1 Corinthians 13:8). Every other things may fail but love cannot fail. The love of God supercedes ordinary love. The love of God came down from heaven to conquer the world for us. Jesus, the love of God personified said: "be of good cheer I have overcome the world" ( John 16:33b). What made us more than conquerors is not our strength but the love of God. Today's text says: "....we are more than conquerors through him that loved us". His love made us "More Than Conquerors". Conquerors fight to emerge who they are but the love of God fought and overcame for us to make us 'More Than Conquerors'.
Meanwhile, all we need to do is to love Him back, in other to authenticate our status of 'More Than Conquerors'. He said: "He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him (John 14:21 KJV). Keeping God's Word is the proof of our love for God, which makes Him manifest Himself in our lives. And when God manifest in your affairs, you become more than conquerors. Therefore, be committed to keeping God's Word daily, in order to operate in the realm of 'More Than Conquerors'. More than conquerors is not just in words but in our walks with God daily; through our love for Him validated by our obedience to keeping God's Word. Shalom!
