Today's Thought: WALK AFTER THE SPIRIT!
"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit" (Romans 8:1 KJV).
Life is all about decisions and actions based on our intentions. Your decision determines your destiny. The quality of your decision determines the quality of your destination. Whosoever or whatsoever determines your decision, automatically will determine your destination. Destination here, implies the outcome or result of your decision. Some decisions will result in commendation, while others may bring condemnation. Today's text affirms that, the way out of condemnation in life is walking after the Spirit.
There's continuous conflict between the flesh and the Spirit, regarding man's actions daily. God has blessed the believers with His Holy Spirit, our Counselor of life, for our commendations in life. The question is: do you always allow the Holy Spirit to lead the way, in your daily decision making? If you do, you are on your way to your high places in life. Walking after the Spirit; and not after our own thoughts, ideas, perceptions; will make us triumphant always, in the journey of life. Many have ended in regret, after walking in line with their brain alone. Following the leading of the Holy Spirit will empower our thoughts and actions for excellence in life. Not every open door is God's door, many are traps in disguise. It takes walking after the Spirit, to scale heights and escape traps in life. Shalom!
