Today's Thought: LIVE IN THE SPIRIT!
"If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit" (Galatians 5:25 KJV).
Believers are ordained to live in the Spirit; despite living in the world. We are in the world but we are not of this world. Our lifestyle is in the Spirit, because the spiritual controls the physical. You are not expected to base your existence on the happening around you. Considering the situation of the world, if caution is not taking, one may loose focus of the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of God is the ultimate for the believers. Jesus said, He is coming at the hour in which no one expected. Therefore, the question is how do you live your life? Is it in the flesh or in the spirit. You are essentially, a spirit-being, possessing a soul and habited by the body.
The real you is not your body, the real you that God created in His image is your spirit; because God is a Spirit. That's is why to live and please God, a believer must live in the Spirit of God; but not on his or her own spirit, because without Him, we can do nothing in this world. For you to live successfully in this world, live your life in the Word of God, and not on the systems of this world. Goliath faced David with his sword, spear and shield; but David faced him with the name of the Lord God and prevailed. Face your world daily by the Living Word of God and prevail. The Word of God is the name of the Lord God (John 1:1). For you to live and prevail like David in this world; you must live in the Spirit like David did. Shalom!
