Today's Thought: GOD'S POWER IS IN YOU!
"Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou? (Ecclesiastes 8:4 KJV).
It is stated in the Word of God that Jesus said: "behold I give unto you power" (Luke 10:19). But one may be wondering where is the power? The Word of God is the power of God. In order words, anywhere that the Word of God is, there's power available there. The Word of God in you, is the power of God resident in you. The power of God is a great power; it is a mighty power; it is a quick power for quick work. Meanwhile, the scripture says that Jesus Christ is the King of kings; He has also made us kings and priests to reign on the earth (Revelation 5:10). How then do we reign on the earth? The Word of God is our spiritual authority for our reigning in life.
More so, according to Today's scripture, "Where the word of a king is, there is power". That implies: wherever we are, power is there, because the Word of the King of kings is in us and we are also kings. That's why the name of Jesus has become our anchor for victory in life. Speaking the Word of God and sealing it up with the name of Jesus guarantee our total triumph, because we are in Christ and His Word is in us. Don't just watch any situation, release the power of the Word in you. You carry with you the almighty power of God, but your mouth is the trigger for the release of the power. Until you speak it, nothing will happen but when you speak it, wonderful things are bound to happen. Don't stop speaking the Word until your desired results manifest. You are a king, your word carries irresistible power of God. Shalom!
