Today's Thought: CHOSEN TO SHOW FORTH!

      "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light" (1 Peter 2:9 KJV)

God had chosen the believers before the foundation of the world. The reason for your salvation is not your decision but God's; because no man can come to Christ, except the Father draw the person. From Today's text: you are a chosen generation but it is not enough to know who you are; you must understand the purpose in order to fulfill it. When the purpose of a thing is not known, the abuse is inevitable. Nevertheless, God unfolds the purpose of chosen us in the scriptures, as we can see from the text above. You are chosen to show forth the praises of God, that called us out of the world to stand out.

You are chosen to show forth the peculiarity of the Kingdom. In order words; wherever you are, you are to exhibit the Kingdom values instead of the world values. The world shows forth corruption, furnication, wickedness, hatred, selfishness, lies, pride, envy, strive etc; but as a believer: you are to show forth love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, kindness, truthfulness, trustworthiness and all other values of the Kingdom of God. God is counting on you today to fulfill your purpose on the earth. Christianity is not just about saying good faith words to make you feel good; but also showing forth good works in the world, that bring praises to our God. Therefore, go forth and show forth our peculiar values as a peculiar people of the God's kind of values. Shalom!

Today's Thought: RENEWED IN KNOWLEDGE!

      "And have put on the new man , which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him" (Colossians 3:10 KJV)

New birth has turned every believer into a new man in Christ. We are renewed in Christ to walk in the newness of life; spirit, soul and body, we need a renewal so as not to be conformed to the world. The Word of God is what we received and believed to become born again; it is the same Word that is required to renew us inside out. Believers renewal is inside out, because the real man is inside. The spirit and soul of man form the real man within the body. Only the Knowledge of God's Word has the capacity to renew the new man in Christ. Like a computer system renewal; installing a new software into it enables it to begin to operate in line with the new software. Formatting the old precedes the installation of the new, otherwise the renewal will be impossible.

Meanwhile, as a man thinks in his heart so is he; thinking the world thoughts brings the world realities, but thinking God's thoughts brings glorious realities in life. He said in His Word that His thoughts towards us are thoughts of peace and not of evil (Jeremiah 29:11). To enjoy peace and escape evil, one needs the God's thoughts and they are in His Word. What the knowledge of God's Word does is to format the old thoughts of evil and instal new thoughts of peace in the believers. Until a man's thinking is renewed, his living is not renewed. Thought affects living; and divine thought promotes divine living. Knowledge of God's Word renews a believers thinking in order to enhance his living. Get the Knowledge of the Word to renew your thinking and enhance your living today. Shalom!

Today's Thought: RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD!

      "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him" (2 Corinthians 5:21 KJV)

God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son as a ransome for the world. The world was not worthy but for His great love; He made Christ, who knew no sin, to be sin for us. This is just for a purpose, so that no man may boast of anything. Our boast is not in our self claimed righteousness but in His righteousness. Christ is our righteousness in God. No man can claim it's by my works but by Christ work on the cross. We are made righteousness of God in Christ. Righteousness is not a status but a lifestyle, that is in line with God's standard. The standard that God uses in measuring righteousness is not man's thought, way or will but in His ways, thoughts and will as contained in His Word. The Word of God is God's standard for righteousness.

Walking worthy of His Righteousness demands that we know His standard for living from His Word daily. That's why Jesus says: "but seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you" (Matthew 6:33). The Word of God makes righteousness and following the Word as a lifestyle is righteousness of God in Christ. As you go about your daily activities and events of life; let the Word of God dwell in you richly to be able to walk worthy of God's standard for living. That it is right to majority does not makes it right with God; if it's not right based on God's Word, it is not right in the world, no matter who is for it. The Word of God is the light for our path; that shows us the righteousness of God in the world. Righteousness exalts; so to be righteous is to be exalted above all limitations of life. It is the way up in God and it is wisdom to live for it in life. Shalom!

Today's Thought: MASTER KEY TO YOUR ELEVATION!

      "And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth" (Deuteronomy 28:1 KJV)

The Word of God is forever settled in Heaven (Psalm 119:18). It is our obedience to the dictates of the Word that distinguishes us in the world. It was obedience that set Noah on high above and delivered him with his family from the flood that destroyed the world at the beginning. Obedience made Abraham the Covenant Father of the world. It made Daniel and his friends to become ten times better than their peers in Babylon. It may be demanding; but the end result of obedience to God's Word, cannot be denied in the world.

Do you care to be set on high above all nations of the earth? Great! Then submit yourself to total obedience to God's Word. Doing what God says, the way He says it, sets a believer on high above all situations and circumstances in life. The master key to your elevation in the world is obedience to the revelation of the Word of God Most High. Those who obey God's commandments end up as commanders; those who obey the dictates of God's Word emerge as distinguished people in the world. To obey may be difficult for someone, because it is not by might nor power but by the Spirit of the Lord. The Spirit of the Lord empowers for sweat-less obedience to God's Word. Ask God to baptise you with the Spirit of obedience, and you will be empowered to obey. God said: He will give you a new heart and a new spirit to obey Him (Ezekiel 36:26-27). The Holy Spirit gives us access to revelation and helps us to obey it, for our elevation in the world. Shalom!

Today's Thought: CHRIST IN YOU FOR GLORY!

      "To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory" (Colossians 1:27 KJV)

Every believer in Christ is a new creature: according to the scripture; "old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new". What makes all things become new is because "All things are of God" (2 Corinthians 5:18). In order words, all things about a believer are now of God and that is why we receive Christ into our lives, as believers. According to Today's Text, God would make known what is the wealth of the glory of the greatest mystery of the Kingdom: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Meanwhile, the glory of God in us is an exceeding glory. The scripture says: "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory" (2 Corinthians 4:17 KJV).

In other words, whatever affliction or challenge you may be going through now, is for a moment and is working for God's glory that will manifest. However, that Christ is in you does not equals to absence of challenges or crises; but it is the hope of glory in the midst of them all. Remember, Christ's presence in the boat with the disciples didn't prevent the stormy sea; but it was the hope of calmness, stillness and peace. And Christ did nothing until they woke Him up, before rebuking the storm. Every stormy challenge of yours, demands that you awake the Christ in you; for the manifestation of peace unlimited. Christ, the Word of God in you is not for decoration; but for you to put Him to work by declaration for the manifestation of glory. Put the word to work by declarations and supplications of faith; for the manifestations of your expectations. The Word of God in you that you won't declare, will not deliver your desire. It's your day. Shalom!

Today's Thought: WAITING FOR WINNING!

      "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31 KJV)

Winning in life is not about luck but about light. The degree of your light determines the rating of your winning. Today's text unveils the great advantage of waiting upon God for winning in life. Waiting upon God for Winning is not just about ticking time but understanding of time and what to do. The children of Issachar had the understanding of time and what Israel ought to do. What you do while waiting is much more important than watching what God will do. As a matter of truth, God had done all things well, if something is not well; then a waiting is demanded to restore the wellness.

Meanwhile, renewal of strength is the utmost goal of waiting, according to Today's scripture. Your level of strength renewal determines your end status among the three main end-status of waiting on God: Highflyers; Runners; and Walkers. Why will you end up a walker when you can soar like the Eagle? The Word of God is the Spiritual Strength Renewal Force on the earth. The scripture says: "They go from strength to strength everyone of them; appearing before God in Zion" (Ps.84:7). "He gives strength to the faint; and to them that have no might he increases strength" (Isaiah 40:29). The understanding you gain from God's Word propels your outstanding in the world. As you wait, upon God and not a man, for your desired change, study the Word for the required light that will empower you for flight and soar above the limitations or challenges of life. The Understanding of God's Word is the Lifter of the Believers, because "God upholds all things by the Word of His power" (Heb. 1:3). Be Empowered Daily by God's Word for Your Daily Dominion. Today's Thought: MANIFESTATION OF KNOWLEDGE!

      "Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place" (2 Corinthians 2:14 KJV)


Life is characterised by trials, tests, temptations, troubles; but the great news is that: God always causes us to triumph in Christ. Our triumph in life, over every challenge is in Christ; outside or without Christ crises prevail. According to Today's text, God takes delight in our triumph because failure does not bring glory to His name. Our triumph is basically for the "Manifestation of His Knowledge". The scripture says, God makes manifest the flavour of His Knowledge by us in every place. It means that Triumph of a believer is a Manifestation of knowledge of God's Word in that believer.

Your triumph unveils the knowledge of God in you and until you triumph your knowledge is a waste. It is the application of relevant revelation of God's Word that causes us to triumph. God wants to manifest the exceeding greatness of His power in you but He is waiting for you to put His Word to work, because His Word works. What you know is what shows forth in the face of challenges of life and makes you a show piece in the world. What you don't know you don't know and it cannot manifest. You can't give what you don't have. The knowledge of God's Word is the foundation for the Manifestation of a believer's triumph in life. What you don't know says No to you; what you don't understand you stand under; what you are ignorant of, easily ignores you in life. God's Word is powerful and the knowledge of the Word gives you an edge and places you ahead of life issues. The Manifestation of Your Triumph in Life is waiting for the Relevant Application of the Revelation of God's Word. Shalom!

Today's Thought: THE PREVAILING WORD!

      "So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed" (Acts 19:20 KJV).

The scripture says: "if you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is little" (Proverb 24:10). This implies that: strength is vital to prevailing in every adversity or confrontation in life. Life, there are issues, puzzles or questions that require answers. The Word of God is the ultimate answer for the greatest question - Life. God gave man life at the beginning by breathing His Spirit into him; and the Word of God is the Spirit and life. It was the Word of God that prevailed over the ravaging darkness over the earth, in the beginning.

Therefore, it will only take the Word of God to prevail in every situation in life. This is the reason why the Word of God was made flesh to dwell among us. The Word conquered and prevailed to show us the prevailing power of God's Word that can never fail, the prevailing situation notwithstanding. From Today's text, the word must grow mightily for it to prevail. The Word of God is an incorruptible seed, which must be received into the heart, where it must grow through meditation and prevail by speaking it forth. The spoken word of God prevailed over the death of Lazarus, even after four days. No matter how dead or long a situation is, the Word of God will prevail over it. Meanwhile, until the Word grows mightily, it will not prevail. In other words, we have the responsibility of making the Word grow in our heart, so that it can prevail over our situations by speaking forth the right Word. Shalom!

Today's Thought: THE ENDURING WORD!

      "But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you" (1 Peter 1:25 KJV).

Tough times never last but tough people do! The scripture says: "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world" (John 16:33 KJV). In the world, there is tribulation but in God's Word, there is jubilation. Your peace is in God's Word not in the government words. Government can promise and fail but God's promises never fail; because they are yes and amen in Him by His Word. There is no recession in God's Kingdom but this occurs in the world. By the Word of God that endures forever, there will be great possessions in the midst of recession.

Meanwhile, the enduring Word of God is all you need to outlast every challenge of life. The Word of God empowers, inspires and engenders breakthrough in the midst of every barrier. All we need to do in every issue of life: is to lay hold on the right Word for a particular issue and work out our breakthrough; because building your life on the Enduring Word of God, empowers you to end every situation with the speed of light. This is simply because, God's Word is quick and powerful (Hebrews 4:12). At the creation, when God said: let there be light and there was light immediately; not after some minutes, hours, days, weeks, months or year. Immediately Moses stretched the Rod of God in his hand, with response to the Word of God; the Red Sea parted for the Israelites to cross over. Your crossing over that challenge in your life, is at the instance of the Enduring Word of God. Shalom!

Today's Thought: THE ABIDING WORD!

      "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever" (1 Peter 1:23 KJV).

The Word of God is the Living Word, and living by the Living Word of God is what makes living in the world great. Those who live by the world system experience what happens in the world, but those who live by the Living Word of God experience what happens in God. In other words, living by God's Word is what makes the great difference between a believer and the people in the world.

Moreover, the Word of God is not only living but also abides forever. To abide is to remain same; to remain constant and unchanged. The Word of God is forever settled in Heaven, before He releases the Word into the world (Psalm 119:18). Whether we believe or not, God abides faithful to His Word; He cannot deny Himself (2 Timothy 2:13). The only key to make the living and abiding Word of God deliver for you is to live and abide by the Word. Jesus said: "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you (John 15:7 KJV). Until you abide in the Word of God and the Word abides in you, it's not your turn to experience abundant life. When you turn to abide in God's Word, then it's your turn to experience abundant life in the world. Shalom!

Today's Thought: THE LIVING WORD!

      "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever" (1 Peter 1:23 KJV).

Believers are born again to reign again in the world, because we are born again by the Word of God, which lives and abides forever. Our reigning is Word-dependent, Word-determined, Word-delivered and Word-defended. According to Today's scripture, we are born by the Word, so our whole existence is based on the Word of God, which determines the kind of life we experience in the world. Meanwhile, it is not enough to know that we are born of the Living Word of God, but we must live our lives by the Word. Our living should not be based on the world system or religion; but must be based only on the Word of God, which lives and abides forever.

The world systems are not reliable but the Word of God is reliable, dependable, dynamic and capable of whatever is written there. The word of a man, institutions or government can change at any time but God's Word remains the same forever. Constitution can be ammended but the God's Word abides forever and the effect is unchanging. Whatever God says in His Word is what He does. There's is corruption in the world but God's Word is incorruptible in the world. Stop living your life by what is happening in the world but by what is written in the World. To reign over every situation in life, live by the Living Word of God that abides forever. Those who live by the world system experience what happens in the world, but those who live by the Living Word of God experience what happens in God. In Him there's no failure, lack, sickness, suffering or death; because in Him is life in abundance (John 10:10). Shalom!

DAILY DOMINION!

Today's Thought: ONE THING IS NEEDFUL!

      "But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her" (Luke 10:42 KJV).

Focus is a magnet, it attracts you to a particular spot and makes you attract others. One thing is needful, so said the Greatest Teacher ever lived on the earth, the Lord Jesus Christ. The account of the life event in Today's scripture reveals to us how we run our lives as believers today. The two sisters here in the text is synonymous to the two aspects of the believers: the NEEDED and the NEEDFUL. Martha was busy about serving the Master but Mary was focused on being served by the Master. Services to the Lord is NEEDED but being Serviced by the Lord via His Word is NEEDFUL.

Therefore, we must get our priority right. We must focus more on being serviced before rendering our service to God. Our focus as believers must be centred on the CULTURE of the SCRIPTURES instead of the STRUCTURE of the SERVICES in the Kingdom. Kindly get me right, services are needed but the Culture of the Scripture is the NEEDFUL, to be able to render acceptable services unto God. The Kingdom we belong to has a Culture embedded in the Scriptures; and until we are nurtured to the Full Stature of Christ, our services cannot be acceptable. That's why we have uncultured believers that appear as Saints in the Church but behave as Serpents in their workplaces and marketplaces. People neglect personal altar to be seen at various services. People don't live any more by the scripture but by the structure of their assemblies. People are becoming more Churchy instead of being Godly. God will have mercy on us and help us, so that He may find faith on the earth when Christ returns. May God give us understanding. Let us stop tampering with the Word and start trembling at the Word of God. Shalom!

Ponder on this: Culture of the Scripture is One Thing Needful for the Believers to Be Nurtured to the Full Stature of Christ!

Today's Thought: MORE THAN CONQUERORS!

      "Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us" (Romans 8:37 KJV).

The most potent force in the world is love, because love fails not (1 Corinthians 13:8). Every other things may fail but love cannot fail. The love of God supercedes ordinary love. The love of God came down from heaven to conquer the world for us. Jesus, the love of God personified said: "be of good cheer I have overcome the world" ( John 16:33b). What made us more than conquerors is not our strength but the love of God. Today's text says: "....we are more than conquerors through him that loved us". His love made us "More Than Conquerors". Conquerors fight to emerge who they are but the love of God fought and overcame for us to make us 'More Than Conquerors'.

Meanwhile, all we need to do is to love Him back, in other to authenticate our status of 'More Than Conquerors'. He said: "He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him (John 14:21 KJV). Keeping God's Word is the proof of our love for God, which makes Him manifest Himself in our lives. And when God manifest in your affairs, you become more than conquerors. Therefore, be committed to keeping God's Word daily, in order to operate in the realm of 'More Than Conquerors'. More than conquerors is not just in words but in our walks with God daily; through our love for Him validated by our obedience to keeping God's Word. Shalom!

Today's Thought: THE SECRET OF TRUE REST AND BEST!

      "Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls" (Matthew 11:29 KJV).


Every one needs and aspires for rest from every struggle of life. We all want to enjoy the best of life. Rest and best are two common phenomena that are paramount to life. The greatest dream in the heart of every human being is of a perfect world. The greatest desire and pursuit of all mankind is the power to achieve this dream. We all want power, which is the ability and capacity to control circumstances and destiny. However, the greatest teacher that ever lived on the earth; whoever said: "All power is given to me in heaven and on earth" (Matthew 28:18). His name is Jesus Christ. In the preceeding verse of Today's text: He made a call to everyone working and heavily laden; to come to Him and He will give rest to all.

Therefore, He revealed the secret of the true rest: "Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me;". The power to control situations, circumstances and destiny lies in taking His yoke and learning of Him. This implies a true relationship with Jesus and learning of Him from The Word of God, because The Word of God is all about Jesus, the King of kings and the Lord of lords. In Him is the best in life and learning of Him brings rest to anyone that comes to Him for the rest of life. Let's make it a duty to learn of Him daily from the Word and we shall enjoy the best for rest of our lives. Shalom!

Today's Thought: THE WEAPONS OF OUR WARFARE!

      "(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)" (2 Corinthians 10:4 KJV).

Life is not a funfair, it is a warfare! Life is not a playground, it is a battleground. The scripture urges us to "Fight the good fight of faith". What kind of warfare is our warfare? It is a warfare of words, because we live in the world of words. The world will always have a word to describe or define whatever you are facing or battling with per time. Therefore, for the believers, we need to equip our knowledge base of the Word of God, in order to live victoriously. Today's scripture revealed that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal/physical, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds. Meanwhile, from this scripture, it takes God to pull down whatever strong holds any believer may be facing per time: be it failure, sickness, disappointment, stagnation, frustration etc.

The weapons we need to conquer are mighty and only through God. This implies without God man is helpless and hopeless of victory in life. Also without us God will not, because until we involve Him, He will let us be. This is because He has given us the earth to dominate but through Him. That's why He has given us a name that's above all other names, the name JESUS. All our weapons of warfare as we have discovered them will never deliver outside the name of Jesus. Peter understood this, he told the lame man at the beautiful gate (Acts 3:), in the name of Jesus, rise up and walk and immediately he walked. Therefore, any believer that want to use any of the weapons of our warfare must do that through the name of JESUS to get result, because no man can go to God except through Him. In other words no weapon of our spiritual warfare can work without the name JESUS, the access code to victory in life. Shalom!

Today's Thought: DEFINED OR DIVINE YOU!

      "And Jesus went out, and his disciples, into the towns of Caesarea Philippi: and by the way he asked his disciples, saying unto them, Whom do men say that I am? (Mark 8:27 KJV).

What have people or situation around you said you are? Have you been called: poor, jobless, barren, unmarried, good for nothing, useless, incapable, debtor, beggar, sick, dullard, etc. It does not matter what defined words described you; it's not the true you. Only God has the final say over your life. People or situation don't make you but God's Word did. Who or what does not make you don't have the right to define or describe you. Only the manufacturer knows and determines the true name of his or her products and not the end users. No matter the names the people call a product, it cannot change the true name (identity) registered by the manufacturer. So likewise, the believers true identity are as determined and divinely registered in the Word of God, no word of man in this world can define us.

Jabez realised this in 1 Chronicles 4:9-10 and his story changed. Your own story is changing too. From Today's scripture, if will follow same account in Matthew 16:13-18. Peter gave the real identify of Jesus Christ as revealed by God to him. Jesus said: upon that rock (unchanged revelation) He will build His Church and no gate of hell shall prevail. Until you discovered the true revelation (the rock) of the divine you from the Word of God, your built up will not come to manifestation. It is the Revelation of the True You from the the Word of God that determines the Manifestation of the True You in the World. A Believer's True Identity is Not Based on Human or Situation Defined Words but by the Divine Word of God. If you truly want to manifest your true identity in this world, get the revelation of your true identity from the Word of God daily. This is where your dominion over every limitation against your true identity lies. Be wise and Go for the Word of God. Shalom!

Today's Thought: COMFORT ON EVERY SIDE!

      "Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side" (Psalm 71:21 KJV).

We serve a God of comfort on every side. His Word for us established this truth: "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth" (3 John 1:2 KJV). His divine plan for us is Fullness of Comfort on Every Side, which covers our spirit, soul and body. More so, according to Today's text: only God can increase our greatness, and comfort us on every side. Your salary, income, profits, dividends, wealth, position, possession or what have you; can't give you comfort on every side. These may make you comfortable in many areas but not all. Jesus said, the life of a man is not in the abundance of what he has.

Therefore, to access all sides comfort, we need to get connected to the God of all comfort, otherwise no empowerment for all round comfort. Connectivity with God gives us the access to the source of empowerment for comfort on every side. The Word of God speaks comfort into our lives. The scripture says: "Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God" (Isaiah 40:1 KJV). When you receive the Word of God, you are empowered for comfort in the world. There's always a word of comfort for every area of endeavours in life. To ensure we remain comfortable, God sent His Holy Spirit, our Comforter to live in us. The sole ministry of the Holy Spirit is to bring us comfort on every side via His governing power, which is the Word of God. It is not enough to be born again but to be filled with the Holy Spirit, in order to access comfort on every side in life. If you are not filled, you can pray right now and you will be filled. He is waiting to fill you, if you are born again, because He is in you for your supernatural empowerment of comfort on every side. It's your day. Shalom!

Today's Thought: THE BELIEVERS PROFESSION!

      "Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) (Hebrews 10:23 KJV).

The promises of God are yes and amen. Today's scripture established the truth of the faithfulness of God to us - the believers. God is not a man that He should lie, neither a son of man that needs to change his words. Whatever God has said in His Word, He is able to bring to pass concerning your life. God is not a joker, He says what He means and means what He says. The scripture says: "For ever, O Lord , thy word is settled in heaven" (Psalm 119:89 KJV). As God had said in His Word so they are, because His words are settled before they are said. He said, you are blessed, so you are, the prevailing situation or circumstance notwithstanding.

Meanwhile, we must know that we have a profession of faith as believers. It is a great profession that brings great possession in returns. For every profession, there's need for training so we can move from level to level. Our teacher is the Holy Spirit, the Holy Bible is the curriculum but each one determines his or her promotion per time. What you don't know, says no to you; what you don't understand, you stand under; and what you are ignorant of, easily ignores you. Therefore, to maximize your profession of faith and rule over situations by faith, you must hold fast the profession by submitting to the tutelage of our Great Professor (Holy Spirit) for your Great Possession via Word study daily and always, because faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). Today's Thought: THE POWER OF THE SPOKEN WORD!

      "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life" (John 6:63 NASB).

The Word of God is powerful and active for supernatural living. All things are made by the Word of God. The Word of God cannot fail because the Word is God (John 1:1). According to Today's scripture, the Spirit gives life. The kind of life that the Spirit of God gives is the God's kind of life, which is the supernatural life. The supernatural life is superior to ordinary life; it is unlimited and does not obey the natural laws. The Holy Spirit operates by supernatural laws for supernatural manifestations. In the above scripture, Jesus made it clear that: His spoken words are spirit and life. This implies that, every Word of God carries the Spirit of God and whenever believers get hold of the Word of God and speak it, the Spirit of God goes into action and brings it alive. The Spirit gives life to the spoken words.

What a great advantage we have as believers? Access to the spoken words of God; Right to the indwelling Spirit of God, that empowers the Word of God in us for supernatural manifestations. We are redeemed as Kings and Priests to reign on the earth; we reign by our spoken words. You must be conscious of this: that by speaking forth the Word of God, the Spirit of God gives life into it. One may ask but I have been speaking but no result. This is because you have been speaking without a solid foundation of the power of the spoken word. The Spirit of God is the power of the spoken Word but faith in the written Word is what triggers the Spirit of the Word of God to deliver supernaturally. That's why it is to everyone according to his or her faith. Therefore, build your faith daily by the Word of God. Shalom!

Today's Thought: EVERLASTING STRENGTH!

      "Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength" (Isaiah 26:4 KJV).

Strength is a fundamental requirement for various activities in life. The scripture also says: 'if thou faint in the day of adversary, thy strength is little'. This implies that, if you don't want to faint or fail in life, build your strength. Strength building is capacity development and it covers all areas of human endeavour. Mental strength is for mental exploits; physical strength is for physical activities; emotional strength is for emotional stability and; spiritual strength is for spiritual triumph in life.

Most of our challenges in life are largely spiritual more than physical. Goliath of Gath was ranting and challenging the Israelites for about forty days (1 Samuel 17:4,16). Despite the mental, physical and emotional trainings of the army, no one was strong enough to face the giant. It took the young man called David with an unwavering trust in God to bring him down without a weapon of war. What God uses to humiliate every giants in our lives is not our age, experience, connections, personal ability but absolute trust in His everlasting strength. The secret to the everlasting strength of God is His Word; because He upholds all things by the Word of His power (Hebrews 1:3). The Word of God is the power of God and trusting in His Word birth everlasting strength that is built to outlast every challenge in life. Until you know the Word of God, you can't trust His Word and until you trust in His Word, you can experience everlasting strength that cannot faint or fail in life. Shalom!

Today's Thought: COMMANDING RELEVANCE!

      "Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men" (Matthew 5:13 KJV).

We make a living by what we get out of this world but we command relevance by what we give. What you get is for you but what you give is for others and you will be remembered more by what you give than what you get. In other words, to remain relevant, you must make more impacts in people's life. Today's scripture unveils who we are destined to be as believers, the salt of the earth. We are to make the earth a better place and not bitter. According to the above text, salt must remain relevant otherwise it will be cast out. The main thing is knowing how to command unending relevance. As a matter of fact salt that is available for use don't lose relevance but unavailable or inaccessible salt will lose relevance with time. The more savour a salt is, the more it commands relevance.

Keeping and maintaining savour is not the responsibility of the salt but the owner. A well kept or preserved salt will command relevance always. The Word of God says: "if you abide in me and my Word abides in you, you shall ask whatsoever you will and it shall be done unto you". It takes abiding in Christ and allowing the Word to abide in us to command relevance without end. Revelation of the Word of God keeps believers relevant and commanding relevance in this world.
It was what God revealed to Daniel that gave him relevance in his time; it was revelation that made Joseph relevant as a Prime Minister in Egypt. The Word of God empowers, renews, revives, restores, rescues, reassures, reproves, resists, repositions believers always; and we must keep looking at this perfect law of liberty, that is capable of renewing our savour as the salt of the earth, in order to keep commanding relevance wherever we are per time. Remain with your source (The Word), retain your savour and command relevance forever.

Today's Thought: BELIEVERS' KINGDOM SHIFT!

      "Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son" (Colossians 1:13 KJV).

The scripture says: if anyone be in Christ he is a new creature, old things are passed away, behold all things are new. What happen to a believer at new birth is a "Kingdom Shift", according to Today's scripture. Salvation is both a liberation from the power of darkness and translation into the Kingdom of God. We are no more under the influence of darkness but in the Kingdom of light. New creation is light dependent and motivated. We operate by light and therefore, darkness has no power over us. Meanwhile, as a new creature, a believer requires a new culture that is nurtured by the scripture, in order to feature in the divine nature of God that is superior to ordinary nature. The Word of God is the light that rules over darkness (John 1:5).

The dominion of light over the darkness is automatic and absolute. When light comes, darkness must go. That's why revelation of the Word of God is absolute in dealing with every raging appearance of the power of darkness. Sickness, delay, lack and want, depression and all manners of the manifestation of darkness must bow to the power of light of the Word of God. The believers 'Kingdom Shift' is the platform for our lift far above the power of darkness. Therefore, all believers need to be empowered by light of the Word of God, so as to reign over the power of darkness. Until your light comes, you cannot arise and shine in life. If any area of your light is dull, you must go for appropriate and adequate light that guarantees your lift in that area. The Word of God remains the light for rising up from all situations and shine in life.

Ponder on this: The Believers Kingdom Shift Guarantees a Lift Far Above the Power of Darkness!

Today's Thought: BELIEVER'S MIND RENEWAL!

      "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God" (Romans 12:2 KJV)

The most vital aspect of man's life is the mind. It your mind's fullness that determines your life's fullness. It is the central processing unit of life. We live more on the inside than the outside. Our lives are lived inside out. Whatever is processed in the mind is what is professed or confessed from the mouth. Like a computer system our mind is the software of life. It can be formated and renewed, according to Today's scripture. Believers must continually renewing the mind, so as not to be conformed to the world system; because the Kingdom lifestyle is different from the world.

In the world, people speak of moving from grass to grace but in the Kingdom of God, we move from grace to grace; they speak of moving from shame to glory but not so in the Kingdom of God, because we are changed from glory to glory by the Spirit of the Lord, as we behold Him in the mirror of the Word. If care is not taken, believers will speak in conformation to the world's system that is contrary to the Word of God. In the world, people live by sight but in the Kingdom of God, we live by faith and not by sight. In the world, the weak say they are weak and the poor say they are poor; but the Word of God says: "let the weak say, I am strong" (Joel 3:10) and "the blessing of God makes rich" (Proverbs 10:22). Therefore, it is pertinent for the believers to be transformed by the renewing of the mind, through the Word of God. World conformation corrupts the mind but Word revelation renews the mind. Be Word addicted to encounter revelation for transformation and be free from world conformation. Shalom!

Today's Thought: BELIEVER'S GREATER WORKS!

      "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father" (John 14:12 KJV).

In the Kingdom of God, every believer has been redeemed and made by Christ, as King and Priest to reign on the earth. Our reigning is based on the Word of God by faith in Him. Believers are assured in Today's scripture that: we shall do the works of Jesus and greater works. Jesus specialises in doing great works and believers are destined to operate in the same frequency and even greater dimensions. God destined us to operate in the fullness of Christ.

Greater works, how? He healed the sick, delivered the oppressed, restored blind eyes, raised the dead, provided money through the mouth of a fish, and many more works. These are the expectations of heaven concerning the believers. Are we doing these now? Yes! The same power at work in the time of the earthly ministry of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, is yet at work in us. That is why the scripture says: "Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world" (1John 4:4). How can we do greater works now? Jesus said it: "He that believeth on me". If you believe, you are qualified for great and greater works of signs and wonders. Meanwhile, it is the Word of God that empowers believers to operate in great faith for greater works. Greater works demands great faith and great faith is generated by the Word of God. Therefore, believers must take God's Word serious and generate great faith for greater works. The apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers are not the only group of believers entitled to greater works, but anyone that believes in Christ. Now take your rightful place in the Kingdom; generate great faith and do greater works!

DAILY DOMINION!

Today's Thought: LAUNCH FORTH WORD!

      "Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship with his disciples: and he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth" (Luke 8:22 KJV).

There is always other side of whatever any person is passing through or experiencing now. Other side of adversity is advancement; other side of barrenness is fruitfulness; other side of lack and want is abundance, other side of stagnation is promotion; other side of poverty is prosperity; other side of sickness is healing and total health; other side of misfortune is fortune and what have. There is always other side and that is what Jesus Christ specialises on: taking you to the other side of every challenge; by giving you His launch forth Word, for your breakthrough; according to Today's text. Meanwhile, He takes us to the other side based on His Word and He goes with us to back His Word that gives us breakthroughs all the way; prevailing circumstances notwithstanding.

The interesting thing about the text above is the last part of the verse: "And they launched forth". They act based on the Word and any time you act on His Word, God's integrity is committed. Along the way to the other side, there was raging storm on the sea, as you read further in the chapter. They allowed fear to take over and they went to the Lord; he rebuked the storm and they went forth to the other side. He asked them this question: Where is your faith? (Luke 8:25). When we panic by what we face in life, same question is applicable: where is your faith? Your launch forth Word is to generate your break forth faith amidst fear; that will culminate in your breakthrough in life. At the onset of every area of our lives; there must be a word from the Lord, that will launch us forth to the other side. Just hold on to the Word of God that cannot fail and experience breakforth in the midst of opposition; by faith in the launch forth Word. All we need to do to move to the other side of whatever we are going through that demands a change is: to get a launch forth Word of God and stick to the Word till our breakthroughs manifest; the prevailing circumstances notwithstanding, the Word we take you to the other side. Shalom!

Ponder on this: Your Launch Forth Word from God Generates Your Breakforth Faith; That Culminates in Your Breakthrough in Life!

Today's Thought: DESTINED FOR DOMINION!

      "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth" (Genesis 1:26 KJV).

My Great Mentor and Chief Instructor's popular quote reads: "When purpose of a thing is not known, the abuse is inevitable" (Dr. Myles Munroe). I strongly believe that the most important thing for any man on the earth is: the great discovery of the great purpose of the Great King of the earth, God; for the creation of man, from the beginning based on His manual for living. The Word of God declared the great purpose of man's creation, according to Today's text, above. Dominion remains the established purpose of God for man. Therefore, we must know our purpose, in order to pursue it with a view to possessing it.

Taking dominion daily is a product of understanding and appropriating the principal tool for taking dominion, which the Word of God; as demonstrated by God, over the raging darkness of the earth after the creation (Genesis 1:2-3). Meanwhile, we must reflect the image of God from His Word before we can function after His likeness. The key to dominion is the Word of God, because we live in the world of word-warfare. God is the Great King over all the earth, and since we are redeemed to be His image, we are kings wherever we are. Therefore, access to the Word of God is the access to the image of God for our inspiration that culminates in total transformation. Every other books inform but the Holy Bible, the book of life transforms the believers into the same image of God, in order to act like Him in manifesting our dominion over all the earth. To rule over every situation in life, we must lay hold on the Word of God concerning the particular issue, wherein our dominion is domiciled and appropriate it correctly. Laying hold on the Word is reflecting God's image (2 Corinthians 3:18); and appropriating it correctly is manifesting His likeness. Shalom!

Today's Thought: THE QUICK AND POWERFUL WORD!

      "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart" (Hebrews 4:12 KJV).

The Word of God is quick and powerful! He heals, delivers, sets free, provides, empowers, raises the dead, works wonders. God's Word delivers instantaneously with utmost potency. He cannot fail. Yes, we do believe in the powerful effects of the Word of God, but most people will not let the Word do the quick and powerful works in them. Jesus said, "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you" (John 15:7 KJV). Therefore, as believers, we must allow the Word of God to abide in us. The scripture also admonishes to "let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom ....." (Colossians 3:16).

Until the Word of God dwell richly in us, we cannot enjoy the Word richly in life. If we allow the Word of God as the discerner of the thoughts and intents of our hearts, according to Today's text; there will be no evil deeds like hatred, envy, slander, strive, immorality and what have you. If our thoughts and the intents of our hearts are not aligned with the Word of God, there will be no experience of quick and powerful works of the Word for us and through us. That's why the scripture says: "Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof" (2 Timothy 3:5). Let the Word of God do the quick and powerful works in you, in order to experience quick and powerful works for and through you. Not living by the Word is denying the power from working for and through us. Live by the Word of God to live and enjoy quick and powerful works in life. The Word of God must work in you before He can work for and through you. Shalom!

Today's Thought: THE POWER OF REVELATION!

      "But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God" (1 Corinthians 2:10 KJV).

Divine Revelation is the unfolding of God's will from His Word by the Holy Spirit. It is the unfolding of deep things of God beyond the ordinary from the light of His Word, through His Spirit. The Spirit of the Lord searches all things, even the deep things of God, according to Today's scripture. It was revelation that set Joseph as Prime Minister from the prison in Egypt; it was revelation that delivered Daniel and others from the dead sentence pronounced by the King in Babylon; It takes revelation to experience elevation from every frustration and stagnation of life. When your light comes, you must arise and shine (Isaiah 60:1). Your elevation is in divine revelation!

The Holy Spirit is the custodian of divine revelation. Daniel said, there is a God in heaven that reveals secrets (Daniel 2:28), because secrets things belong to God. Is there any thing around your life that looks intertwined and not clear? God can reveal it. It will only take engaging the Holy Spirit. How then do we engage Him for revelation? Simply by prayer and fasting. Prayer and fasting facilitates the outbreak of revelation (Isaiah 58:8). Just take time to pray and fast, then your light will break forth from obscurity. In life, there are questions that only God can answer; there are issues that only God can solve. God answers us when we call on Him and the Holy Spirit connects us to the answers from the Word, to make then clearer to us. Anything He shows you, it's effect must show in your life. Stop living in confusion and start engaging the Holy Spirit to empower you with revelation, that will culminate in your elevation from every situation.

Today's Thought: JOY UNSPEAKABLE FULL OF GLORY!

      "Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory" (1 Peter 1:8 KJV).

Joy is of the heart, it comes from within but happiness is of the earth, it comes from without. Happiness is based on the happenings around you while joy is based on the state of your mind. Joy is unspeakable and it is full of glory, according to Today's scripture. Happiness can be temporal but joy is eternal. What keeps you joyful keeps you hopeful; the happenings around you notwithstanding. Happiness is stimulated by positive turnout of events but joy is stabilised, irrespective of the turnout of any event. The scriptures says; "and we know that all things work together for the good of them that love God...". (Romans 8:28). Knowledge of the Word of God.

Besides, happiness is the state of your mood, whereas joy is the status of your mind. That is why the scripture urges us to: "renew our minds" (Romans 12:2). How then do you renew your mind to stay joyful always, inspite the happenings around? The Word of God is the activator of joy unspeakable full of glory. This joy is indescribable, inexplanable but yet undeniable. It takes joy to draw water from the wells of salvation (Isaiah 12:3). Joy draws water but happiness waits to drink. Don't let the happenings define the state of your mood but let what is written in the Word activates your mind. Happiness is defined by the happenings in the world but joy is defined by what is written in the Word. Stop living your life by the happenings but start living by what is written in the Word of God. The scripture says: "Thy Words were found, and I did eat them: and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts" (Jeremiah 15:16). Keep finding and keep applying the Word of God to experience joy unspeakable full of glory. Shalom!

Today's Thought: THE BREAD OF LIFE!

      "And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst" (John 6:35 KJV).

Bread is the most common type of food in life. It is a unique kind of food, because of its significant nutritional value to humanity. You can take it and be satisfied. It is a globally recognised staple food, that gives energy; and contains fibrous content which keeps the digestive system in good order for good living. It goes beyond merely staple food to life support. Jesus said: "man shall not live by bread alone but by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God" (Matthew 4:4). He showed the importance of bread to living.

From Today's scripture: He declared Himself as 'the bread of life'. This bread of life solves hunger and thirst challenges of life. Who is Jesus? He is the Word of God made Flesh (John 1:14). He operates both in the spiritual and physical realms; so believers partake of Him both physically as the "communion flesh" and spiritually as the Word of God. This bread of life is the same yesterday, today and forever. He delivers powerfully always, everywhere and to everyone that comes to Him. He satisfies every human heart desires. He answers every question of life. He caters for all aspects of human endeavours. Anyone that has this bread of life enjoys the best kind of life. Jesus, The Word of God is the bread of life for living the best kind of life, therefore treat the Word as such and enjoy the very best of God. God has given us all we need in life and are packaged in His Word; don't let anything else stand against your access to the best of God from the Word of God, the Bread of Life.

Today's Thought: KNOWLEDGE FOR MULTIPLIED GRACE AND PEACE!

      "Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord" (2 Peter 1:2 KJV).

It is what you know that makes you known and sets you apart in your own class in life. Skill is critical but knowledge of the skill is much more vital. A man with a skill without adequate knowledge of the application of the skill may soon kill, even with the skill. He may kill the system that he or she is trying to apply the skill upon. Moses was skillful in using his rod for leading the animals, but when it came to leading the children of Israel from Egypt; he has to follow the leadings of God in order to lead the people of God to their promised land, otherwise there would be chaos.

From Today's scripture: the knowledge of God via His Word remains the only guarantee, for grace and peace to be multiplied in someone's life. It is the applied revelation of God's Word that terminates every frustration in life. Believers should not be too familiar with the letters of the scriptures, that will overlook the aspect of the Spirit behind the letters, who gives life to the letters. Moses was too familiar with the use of his rod that he missed the Spirit of God behind the rod. He was asked to speak to the rock to bring about the miracle water but struck the rock with the rod; it resulted to an error that prevented him from entering the promised land, having seen it afar off. For grace and peace to be multiplied in our lives, we must allow the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth to guide us into all truths and teach us all things by engaging Him in our study of the Word; that our profitings from the Word might appear to all in the world. May God grant us spiritual understanding, in Jesus Christ name, amen.

DAILY DOMINION!

Today's Thought: GOD WITHHOLDS NOTHING!

      "For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly" (Psalm 84:11 KJV).

God is a good God, He does good things always. Life is based on choices to make and the choice can either make or mar the person. The choice to serve God only and walk by His Word as the standard of living makes exceedingly great in life. The scripture says: "their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another gods" (Psalm 16:4). Making the Lord your God no matter what, is what maintains your lot in life. When God is your portion, He will definitely make your portion the best at all times. From Today's scripture, it is certain that God will not withhold anything from the upright. He releases His best to them that make Him their first in life.

Making the choice to seek God first above all else, is what secures all else in life, according to Matthew 6:33. God does not permit sun without providing a shield, in case the sun is getting too hot, so that there can be comfort. Sun has its purpose and likewise the shield. In case the sun is becoming unbearable for the animals, the plants provide the shield for them. The Lord God make them all, for a purpose and season. God has given us grace through Jesus Christ, which can be multiplied through the knowledge of His Word (2 Peter 1:2). As the grace multiplied, it must culminate in glory in life, but only for them that walk uprightly. The question now is: are you walking uprightly? Your answer can only be justified by God's Word, which is the standard for uprightness in life. This is the reason God gave His Word: so that we can walk uprightly and enjoy all good things in life. Therefore, we must stick to the Word of God to stay upright in this world; in order to enjoy the best in life now and forever in eternity.

Ponder on this: God Upholds All Things by the Word of His Power and Withholds Nothing Good from the Upright!
