Today's Thought: More Sure Word for More Sure Worth!

      "We have also a more sure Word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:" (2 Peter 1:19).

What is the worth of the Richest man in the world? You are destined much more than that. Have you thought of it? That you can be much more than you think you can. You are blessed beyond measure. When God made man at the beginning, the first thing He gave man was blessing; God blessed them (Genesis 1:28). It is the blessing of God that makes rich, it is not riches that make blessed.  The Richest place on the earth is not the oil field of Quwait, nor the graveyard but the Mind of a redeemed man; the Mind of Christ. The Word of God is the Mind of God. 

Therefore, as believers, we have access to the mind of God by the word of God. Economic recession is sure but much more sure is the Word of God for our exemption. The Word said, our path must shine more and more (Proverbs 4:18). That situation is sure but the solution is much more sure. From the above scripture,  we have more sure Word, that guarantees more sure worth in life. What we need to do is to take heed to it. It is in taking heed to both the demands and the benefits of the scripture, that positions us for accessing the blessings.  Obey what the scripture demands and you will get the blessing. More sure Word gives more sure worth but by taking heed to the demands of the scripture. There is always what to do, to have more sure worth. Take heed!
