Today's Thought: THE GIFTED ARE LIFTED!
"A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men" (Proverbs 18:16 KJV).
God is a good God. He made us complete, for us to discover the content of our making. There's no man without a gift in life. It is only dependent on our several abilities to unwrap the gifts. It is not the lack of a gift in a man that brings lack, but lack of the understanding to unwrap and showcase the gift in life. Your talent is your gift destined by God to make room for you, in order to be accommodated in a particular sphere of life. David's gift of music lifted him to king Saul's palace, which ultimately accelerated David's lift as a king (1 Samuel 16:16-23).
Meanwhile, the scripture today unveils the key to purpose discovery. It is a person's gift that unveils the purpose, which leads to greatness in life. In other words, when a person discover his or her talent(s) in life, it gives him or her a platform, which defines a purpose that accelerates greatness. Therefore, refuse to follow the staircase but discover your gift of talent, which is your elevator for accelerated greatness in life. Your gift makes room (elevator) and lifts you to greatness. Discover your gift of talent, define it, be devoted to it and it will lift you in life. The gifted are lifted!
