Today's Thought: Spiritual Vigilance for Victory!
"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:" (1 Peter 5:8 KJV).
We live in the world of spiritual wars. That is why the believers are urged; to fight the good fight of faith. The good news is that, our weapon of warfare are not carnal, but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). Don't watch that issue becomes insurmountable, resist it in the Spirit by faith. What you don't want, you don't watch. The above scripture commands us, to be sober, be vigilant; for one singular reason: the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, looking for a prey. You will not be one.
Therefore, one thing is needful: Spiritual Sensitivity; Interpreting every occurrence in life, with the eyes of the Spirit. Having a Spiritual perspective to life issues. Don't call that occasional sickness as normal, resist it steadfastly, according to the scripture, in the verse 9, of today's text. Don't call it normal, it is abnormal, if it is not good. Everything that God does for us and in us is good. If it is not good, it is not God. Then, resist it. Being Vigilant in the Spirit for Victory: implies seeing right from the eyes of the Spirit, getting the right Word and speaking the right Word, for things to be made right for you, in life.
Ponder on this: Spiritual Sensitivity prevents Satanic Devastations in Life!
Remember: BEING VIGILANT IN THE SPIRIT FOR VICTORY: IMPLIES SEEING RIGHT FROM THE EYES OF THE SPIRIT, GETTING THE RIGHT WORD AND SPEAKING THE RIGHT WORD, FOR THINGS TO BE MADE RIGHT FOR YOU, IN LIFE. Have a glorious day.
