Today's Thought: Prayer averts Tragedy!
"He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him" (Psalm 91:15 KJV).
The promises of God to us, the believers; are eternally sure and settled in heaven. Life, there are issues, confrontations, challenges, but God has assured us the way out from the above scripture. We are also being urged, to redeem the time, because the days are evil (Ephesians 5:16). By calling upon God, putting God first in each day, will commit Him to stick to His promise in the above scripture. Prayer is not an option nor a suggestion for the believers, but it is a Kingdom key to lock and unlock our desires ( Matthew 16:19). It is a spiritual strategy that provokes divine presence at the instance of trouble.
Strategy averts tragedy. Spiritual strategy averts brutal tragedy in life! We have seen several cases in the scripture, where people of God called upon Him in troubles and He delivered them: the Israelites were delivered from the land of captivity by calling upon God. He sent forth Moses to deliver them. No matter what you are going through, God is ready to deliver but just waiting for your call. Call upon God concerning that seemingly terrible situation, He will send a deliverer to you. Most of the times, God's ways are higher and different from ours. Vain is the help of man but sure and ever present is the Help of God (Psalm 46:1). It takes timely call upon God in prayer to secure His timely help.
